AM I SAFE?Ariel Reichman asks us to confront this question, which is simultaneouly both very personal and very political. Depending on the answer we give by clicking a button on the iamnotsafe website, the neon writing on the southern facade of the Mishkan Museum of Art Ein Harod lights up and displays one of two texts: I AM SAFE or I AM NOT SAFE. Our answer poses an existential question that is always relevant, but feels especially burning right now in Israel, especially after the events of October 7.

This edition of the work was created for the Mishkan Museum of Art in collaboration with the Goethe Institute Israel and is synchronized with two previous versions located at the Kunsthalle Mannheim and the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg.
